Good advice

All products from Kähler are handmade with focus on the artistic expression and a high artisanal quality. Each product is unique since they are handmade, meaning that minor variations in appearance may occur.

Tea pot:

  • The product is food-grade approved. 
  • You can wash the product in the dishwasher at max. 60º - BUT the handle must be removed before washing in the dishwasher.
  • The product is microwave-safe up to max. 1,000 W – BUT the handle must be removed before using the microwave.
  • The product is not oven or freezer proof.
  • Please be aware that the handle of the teapot can get very hot. 

Vacuum jug/thermos:

  • The product is food-grade approved. 
  • Before using the thermos, pre-fill for about 3 minutes, using either hot water for hot drinks or cold water for chilled drinks to ensure the optimal efficiency.
  • Make sure the fastening cap is securely fastened during use, for the insulation to function optimally.
  • The product is not microwave, oven or freezer proof.
  • Do not store dry ice in the appliance.
  • Glass inners are fragile. If mishandled or dropped the glass insert may break.
  • If the thermos has not been used for some time, rinse with warm water to remove any residual odours.
  • Keep the thermos away from direct heat to protect any plastic materials from damage.
  • The thermos should not be over-filled. Remember to leave sufficient space in the neck to fit the stopper.
  • Insulating containers must be cleaned regularly.
  • Do not use any cleaning products containing chloride 
  • Use washing-up liquid to clean the inside of the thermos. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with hot water.
  • To remove difficult stains, fill the thermos with hot water, add one teaspoonful of baking soda.
  • Do not put stopper on product while using this cleaning method. Leave it overnight. Always rinse thoroughly before re-use.
