Kähler and ARoS will in 2017 continue their close collaboration which started in January 2016 when Kähler became main sponsor of the art museum. ARoS and Kähler want to create exciting cultural experiences for everyone in the form of several attractive and exclusive events such as a series of salons with former TV host Ane Cortzen. The events will take place at ARoS where both museum director Erlend G. Høyersten and owner of Kähler, Frantz Longhi, will participate together with a long line of inspiring guests.
The collaboration between ARoS and Kähler is very much about thinking and acting on a grand scale and about jointly developing new cultural activities.
“Working with Kähler comes very natural to us. Our common trait is that we have a strong position in Denmark and Scandinavia while also having a broad international perspective. It has to offer more than just a classic sponsorship. We should also be able to share knowledge, challenge and push each other. That is how sponsorships will be in the future”, says ARoS museum director Erlend G. Høyersten.
Kähler and the art
Kähler Design’s strategy involves serving as an active and strong support for modern art and culture in Denmark. Since its foundation in 1839, Kähler has had close ties to the art world through e.g. creative collaborations with various talents – from historical icons like L.A. Ring and P.S Krøyer to several of today’s strong talents such as Anders Arhøj and Cecilie Manz. Kähler wants to continue its active support of modern art and culture.
“It gives us great joy to cooperate with ARoS. In 2017, we will arrange many exciting and innovative activities for people interested in culture of all ages. Erlend and I look forward to opening the doors at ARoS for four entertaining interview salons where Kähler’s head of culture, Ane Cortzen, will invite guests on stage for an in-depth discussion of a particular topic. ARoS and Kähler have great ambitions - nationally and internationally - and it is wonderful to be able to challenge and explore new topics together such as art and growth from a local and international perspective”, says Frantz Longhi, owner of Kähler Design.
All activities will be published on a regular basis in e.g. news letters and on social media.
