KÄHLER SPISESALON'S CHRISTMAS COOKIES


250 g butter, softened
250 g icing sugar
2 vanilla pods
¼ tsp. salt
1 egg

350 g flour
1 tsp. baking powder
200 g coarsely chopped chocolate
1 large organic orange

Cream the soft butter together with the icing sugar and vanilla. Add the egg and whisk well. Mix the baking powder and salt into the flour and carefully fold the flour mixture into the dough. When the dough has become uniform, add the chopped chocolate and the juice and zest of the orange. Roll out the dough into four, equal-sized sausage shapes and chill in the fridge for approx. 1 hour. Once the dough is chilled, slice the dough into cookies with a sharp knife and place on a baking sheet. Bake the cookies for 6-7 minutes in a preheated oven (175º).
