Terms of trading

Welcome to the Kähler shop. By ordering goods you automatically accept the below terms and conditions. We recommend that you read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting your order.

Order procedure

To be able to shop at the Kähler Design webshop, we need the following information about you: name, address, telephone number, e-mail and payment details. Select shipment method, parcel shop or delivery to your home. Check that all personal data and product information are correct. Then agree to our Terms of Trading and our Privacy Policy and continue to the payment page. Enter your payment details and complete the order.

When you have provided the information, you will receive confirmation of your order on the e-mail address provided. Once we have packed your products and they are ready for collection from our warehouse by the selected distributor, you will receive an e-mail with your track & trace no.

No later than 24 hours of receipt of such e-mail, you will be able to track where your order is through the distributor's website where you can enter your track & trace number. When your order has reached its destination, you will typically also receive an e-mail from the selected distributor.

If you cannot find the confirmation of your order in your inbox, we recommend that you check your spam folder. If you still cannot find it, please contact our Customer Service by e-mail: customerservice@kahlerdesign.com or by phone +45 55 72 02 91 (GMT +1) Monday-Thursday from 8.30-16.00 and Friday from 8.30-15.00 and we will then send you the confirmation of your order.

Breakage warranty

We offer a breakage warranty on selected tableware items. That means you receive a new, equivalent product free of charge when you also submit a certificate of guarantee.

Right of cancellation

The Kähler shop grants full right of cancellation for a period of 30 days from the day after you receive the goods.

Goods must be returned unused in their original condition and in their original, undamaged packaging.

Write the reason for the return on the enclosed return note, place the product carefully in the enclosed packaging or other safe packaging along with the return note and apply the pre-paid return label on the box and deliver the parcel to the distributor selected for delivery. Please note that you cannot cancel your order by refusing to receive the product or by not collecting it – unless you tell us that you want to cancel your order.

Please keep the receipt which you receive from the distributor when you deliver the parcel as documentation of shipment of the returned goods.

Complaints

Kähler's webshop operates under the Danish Sales of Goods Act and the guidelines issued by the National Consumer Agency. Complaints are regulated by the provisions of the Danish Sale of Goods Act. This means that you can complain about defects in a product that occurred within 24 months of the purchase. However, this does not apply to defects, damage or wear and tear due to improper use, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear. Information on options for alternative dispute resolution

If you wish to complain about a product or service purchased from us, you may apply for dispute resolution with: Center for Klageløsning (Centre for Complaint Resolution) under the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. You can file a complaint via www.forbrug.dk You can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform to file a complaint. This is especially relevant if you are a consumer resident outside Denmark, in another EU member state. File your complaint here - http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

Payment

The Kähler shop accepts the following credit cards: Dankort, Mastercard, Maetro-kort, VISA, Visa Electron, JCB, Diners, American Express, Danske Netbank and Nordea Netbank.

You will not be charged until the goods are despatched from our warehouse.

All prices displayed on Kähler shop are stated in EURO (EUR) and are inclusive of 25% VAT.

Security

The Kähler Design webshop is fully secure as all communication between our payment system and the credit card holder takes place via an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection. Neither Kähler Design's webshop nor any third parties will be able to see the payment information exchanged in connection with the purchase. Customs and VAT

If you order from a country within the European Union, the prices include Danish VAT, but no customs duty will be added in accordance with the rules governing free movement of goods. If you order from a country outside the European Union, customs duty and VAT will be charged locally. However, deliveries to Norway will be subject to Danish VAT, and Kähler will pay the costs of inward customs processing according to current rules.

Price and discount code errors

If a price is obviously wrong and you should reasonably have discovered it, we are not obliged to deliver the product in question at the wrong price. This also applies to the use of several discount codes as a result of which an unreasonably high discount is achieved. If Kähler finds that this is the case for an order, Kähler reserves the right to cancel the order. It will always be possible to buy the products at their full normal price.

Terms of delivery

Shipping costs will be calculated when you enter your details during check out. For shipments outside Denmark, shipping costs are calculated individually. The shipping costs stated on the website when the order is placed will always apply.

Please note that we do not ship to countries outside Europe - if you have further questions regarding this, feel free to contact us at customerservice@kahlerdesign.com.

General terms

All goods will be sent by parcel post, which allows you to track the package. The goods are insured in transit and you are requested to check the contents of the package on delivery. If the package and/or contents are damaged upon receipt, you must notify Kähler immediately, or not later than seven days after receipt, and return the goods to us. Kähler Shop will not be liable for goods damaged in transit.

All goods are safely packaged to minimise damage in transit.

Delivery time
For shipments outside Denmark freight will be calculated individually. The Kähler shop will not be liable for any delays caused by DHL. In the event of non-delivery, the Kähler Shop will make a replacement delivery at no cost to you.

We offer gift wrapping in beautiful wrapping paper and ribbon.
