OMAGGIO BRINGS COLOURS TO THE KITCHEN

Kähler celebrates the company’s roots by launching the series “Omaggio Kitchen”, which is created by the designers Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft.

They have created an ultra modern kitchen series in a simple and characteristic design, which perfectly suits the kitchens and tasteful homes.

Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft both graduated from the Danish Design School (Ceramics and Glass Design) in 2001. They run the design store Stilleben.

Stilleben’s design is simple and functional, but always with a detail that makes the difference. Focus is on precise design and materials and surfaces which underline the product in the best possible way. Stilleben operates two shops, one in Copenhagen and one in Aarhus.

”We have always been totally fascinated by Kähler’s epoch-making ceramics, which have played an enormous part in placing Denmark on the map when it comes to art and design. It is with great pleasure that we help carry the artistic ceramics heritage into a new era and a new form language”, say the two designers.
