Cecilie ManzCecilie Manz graduated from the Danish Design School in 1997. Since 1998, she has operated her own design studio in Copenhagen. Here she designs furniture, glass, lamps and other related products, primarily for the home.

Cecilie Manz often finds inspiration in insignificant everyday situations, and she subsequently develops her ideas. Some never leave the drawing table, whereas others take shape and become everyday objects in the form of functional tools.

Throughout her career, Cecilie Manz has had exhibitions at EXPO 2005 in Japan and at the Danish Design Centre (the solo exhibition Taking Stock in 2005 and the exhibition Honey I’m Home in 2006). Moreover, she has won a great number of Danish and international awards for her designs, including Kunstpreis Berlin 2008/Architecture, the Finn Juhl Architectural Prize 2007 and the Danish Design Prize 2004 and 2008/2009.
