With the characteristic Mano bowl, Jeanette List Amstrup has reinterpreted on of the everyday essential items and made it on of the most popular items of the Kähler product portfolio. Now the Mano series is extended with bowls in the familiar playful design. Along with cups in two sizes, the Mano series puts colour at the breakfast table for the entire family.
Jeanette List Amstrup graduated from the Danish Design School in 1994. Since then she has operated her own workshop and has worked for Royal Copenhagen and Höganäs Keramik, among others.
Jeanette List Amstrup has had exhibitions at the Biennale for Crafts and Design, Trapholt and the Spring Exhibition at Charlottenborg. Moreover, she has received grants from the Government Art Fund and the Danish National Bank Jubilee Fund.
Jeanette List Amstrup is known for her organic form language with soft and round shapes. When she lets her intuition lead her, the shapes come into existence as a natural part of the process. This is also reflected in her work for Kähler. She has been attached to Kähler since 2007.
