The design of Kähler’s flagship store in Bruunsgade in Aarhus, “Kähler and Friends”, is characterized by the same striking combination of the classic and modern as Kähler ceramics. This is why the store is nominated as best designed store of the year by the Danish magazine Bolig Magasinet at this year’s Design Awards. Last year’s winner was the Georg Jensen shop in Copenhagen Airport. Whether or not Kähler and Friends will be named this year’s winner will be revealed in Bolig Magasinet on 9 September.
